2. Stan (The Man) Webb went on to release s "That's The Way We Are", during the late seventies under the heading of Stan Webb's Chicken Shack. This is the first time on CD for this album and has been a rarity for some time. Stan "The Man" Webb remains one of the UK's best and respected, but sadly underrated, guitarists/5(7).

6. I haven't heard every Chicken Shack lp yet, but most of them, as they are a blues band I particularly enjoy and Stan Webb a musician I greatly admire. Of these many releases, "Plucking Good" is easily my favorite - or, at least, the album I reach for most often. Everything works on this disc, it's pure Chicken Shack all the way/5(5).

7. I've always wondered if George Thorogood was inspired to put power sax into his music mix after hearing this one by Stan Webb. Granted his vocals are a bit rough and take a little getting used to (thus only 4 stars) but man the boogie guitars and slide are GREAT/5(6).
